Former careers: Science/math/computer teacher, construction superintendent, early music researcher and DJ, cylinder phonograph repairer. Former gardener of fruits, vegetables and native plants. Fan of Volvos with manual transmissions. Currently full-time (sorta) student at SFSU, going for a masters in Museum Science. Working on a team restoring the IBM 1401 and its peripherals, formerly worked on the Babbage Difference Engine #2 Maintenance team. Heading to Dearborn for the summer to research the vintage television collection at the Henry Ford. Obsolete technology, the older the better, is our specialty.
